Ericsson wins AT&T's five-year 5G contract to support C-band and 5G SA network deployment

On October 11th, Ericsson and AT&T announced a five-year 5G cooperation agreement. Ericsson's official website stated that this transaction will help support the deployment of the C-band spectrum and the launch of the 5G SA network recently acquired by AT&T.
Through this transaction, Ericsson will help AT&T bring its 5G network to more consumers, businesses and first responders in key industries-including 5G in sports and stadiums, entertainment, tourism and transportation, corporate transformation, and public safety Example.

Ericsson Cloud RAN is a cloud-native software solution that can handle computing functions in the RAN. It complements existing technologies in the RAN field and allows the adoption of leading practices to become the basis for openness, thereby enabling 5G innovation.
Ericsson Cloud RAN will enable communication service providers to seamlessly evolve toward cloud-native technologies and open network architectures to meet the requirements for higher deployment flexibility.
